Who can relate?
Reading: The book club book this month is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I am still in the early stages of the book and have nothing nice to say about it yet. I’m going to keep my thoughts to myself on this one.
Eating: I finally finally tried Arthur’s snackette! It was very good. The actual bagel was so solid. I was appalled by the price though. I will have to stick with Primrose (which has better cream cheese anyway). Also got my first Bar Ape of the summer! I had a swirl of the plum (my all time fave) and the olive oil soft serve, which tasted like cardboard but in a good way?
Playing: Always listening to Good Noticings, formally (kind of) Celebrity Memoir Book Club, with Ashely and Claire. If you want to listen to a podcast that reminds you to talk to your funniest, smartest friends so you can laugh, this podcast will do it for you.
Obsessing over: Spring time! I love when everyone comes out of hibernation and the city feels so alive. Hello world! I am writing this in the sun, sweating from the back of my knees and I have never been so happy. Trinity Bellwoods here I come BABYYYYYYYYY
Recommending: The Real Housewives of Rhode Island: I feel like I struck gold every time I watch an episode. I think we have such an interesting dynamic group of women, even though I truly cant tell them apart yet (much like Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow in Season 1 of Salt Lake). The stand out stars to me are Alicia and Jo-Ellen who I think are so funny and vulnerable. I am sketched out by Jo-Ellen’s “friend” who is always getting the evidence of the cheating happenings about that foot doctor who steals Ozempic from his workplace, and I hope to meet her soon! Get a camera to her house.
Trying: I am trying very hard to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Is it normal that at 23 I feel like every decision I make will dictate my future? I need guidance and a joint.
